The Community-based Learning Action Portal culminates from Arts-ED's more than 20 years of conducting community-based arts and culture education, particularly in George Town, Malaysia.
Targeting teachers and educators, the materials and sample projects on the portal are grounded in our methodology of Community-based Learning (CBL), and aim to allow the users to adopt and adapt to their own context.
Our methodology focuses on cultural diversity as manifest in local communities and the ways in which we live every day. Our goal is to facilitate, using creative pedagogy, learners to practise responsible citizenship in an authentic setting.
